Our core business is rolling stock engineering consultancy. We have a proven track record in the UK and overseas, covering an extensive range of vehicles.

The UK rail industry has moved on significantly. Since privatisation, we have helped our customers to achieve high service levels but increasingly, we are focusing on maximising asset life and reducing lifecycle costs to support the strategic drive of further growth of the railway at higher levels of efficiency.

In Europe, ESG has been pivotal in supporting the liberalisation of the railways. Working closely with national safety bodies, we have guided new incumbents and established operators, as well as overseas equipment suppliers.
