GRADUATES

ESG has a strong commitment in the development of new engineers and all our new graduates enjoy the benefits of the MPDS scheme which is run in conjunction with the ATOC Graduate Scheme (ATOC is the Association of Train Operating Companies).

As a Graduate Consultant Engineer with ESG, you will be given a wide range of placements and experiences that will secure your progression through the training phases towards chartered status. There is also plenty of design and project work that will give good focus and depth on technology issues.

You will then be given larger projects that will develop your leadership and project management skills, whilst increasing your knowledge and expertise.

We believe that working for ESG should be a career, not a job.

Many thanks to all those who came to see  ESG at the following university career fairs:

  • Loughborough 22nd October 2007
  • Nottingham 29th October 2007
  • Sheffield 30th October 2007

If you are a recent graduate and interested in a career with ESG we always welcome applications from suitably qualified engineers:

If you have:
  • Recently graduated, or will graduate in mid-2008
  • A 2.2 (or higher) degree in an engineering-related discipline (MEng or BEng)
  • A degree which is accredited by the IMechE or IET
  • A desire to progress towards Chartered Engineer status
  • A willingness to get involved in practical engineering
...we want to talk to you! - Simply forward your CV, with a covering email, to:

graduates@esg-railconsultancy.co.uk

The next formal application and selection process will start in September 2007, but we welcome applications throughout the year.  For further information about ESG, our graduate training scheme, or to place advance interest in next year’s application process, please email us at the above address. Also, read our graduate's own experiences (Graduate Profiles) with ESG for first-hand explanation of what's on offer.
