| COMPANY PEDIGREE |
| ESG has its origins in the Engineering Support department
of English, Welsh and Scottish Railway (EWS), UK's largest
rail freight operator. Established in the mid 1990's as a
specialised Engineering Department to support the procurement
of new locomotives and rolling stock, the ESG team had a pivotal
role to play in the impressive entry into service of the Cl.66
locomotives. |
| At a time when other new rolling stock sat in sidings for
up to 2 years pending resolution of certification and approval
issues, the no-nonsense entry into service of the 250-strong
Cl.66 fleet, directly they had been unloaded from the boat,
was hailed by the industry as the way forward for new train
introduction. |
| Since then, ESG has built on that achievement with an ever
expanding track record of providing the solutions required
to support business development, not only for EWS Railway,
but increasingly for a wider portfolio of passenger operators,
vehicle manufacturers and train leasing clients. |
| In so doing, ESG's Engineer's have become widely respected
in the industry, both in the UK and Europe, helping to shape
the railway engineering standards for today and tomorrow.
ESG's ethos has always been - and remains - to provide the
most cost-effective solution, within the necessary constraints
of the railway regulatory framework, to keep you safe whilst
delivering value-for-money. |
| Now established as a self-standing company in its right,
ESG has firm ambitions to expand its business and provide
a complete railway engineering consultancy service to rival
the very best in the industry. |
| It is this pool of experience, expertise and ambition that
you are tapping into in considering ESG for your railway engineering
needs - we are confident that we can deliver. |
