| ESG employs some 60 highly experienced Rail Engineers covering a wide variety of railway disciplines and all aspects of Traction and Rolling Stock engineering including Locomotives, Coaching Stock, EMU's/DMU's, Wagons and On-Track plant. |
| ESG's proven experience has included managing the design/development and introduction into service of approximately 300 new locomotives, 2,600 assorted new vehicles and 1,000 vehicle conversions over the last 5 years. Additionally it has managed and designed the fitting and introduction of T&RS modifications such as TPWS and OTMR onto fleets of approximately 750 traction units on behalf of ROSCO's and operators, in line with mandated industry timescales. |

| ESG's close ties with EWS Railway means it is in a unique position within the UK rail consultancy business, a position that has helped us deliver cost-effective business solutions to a wide variety of customers. Through EWS we have direct access to a network of maintenance and overhaul facilities and resources throughout the UK. |
| ESG is working with Railway Approvals Limited in their role as "Organisme ou Service Technique Indépendant (OSTI)" for certain projects. This work comprises the independent assessment and scrutiny of projects for their conformity to the reference standards and to safety. The current French Regulations are in the process of replacing the OSTI role with an "Expert ou Organisme Qualifié Agréé" (EOQA)", and in awaiting the final arrangements for these accreditations, ESG is preparing to request this accreditation when the time comes. |
